The impact of cancer doesn’t end when treatment does.

Many women experience lasting physical and emotional side effects long after their treatment is over. Women, like Emma.

Emma was only 41 and preparing to return to work after the Christmas break when she received the shocking news of a breast cancer diagnosis.

After 12 months of intensive treatment, Emma was left to navigate life after cancer on her own. Like many, she had survived, but she didn’t have the tools or support to truly thrive.

That’s why we’ve partnered with Dr Janine Porter-Steele OAM—an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager and researcher—to create a comprehensive recovery guide for women post-cancer treatment. Drawing on Janine’s expertise and research, this guide offers practical advice on managing fatigue, rebuilding strength, and supporting long-term well-being.

This guide gave me clear, evidence-based information on many important topics. This helped me learn to live well after my breast cancer diagnosis.

That’s what research should do: turn knowledge into better care, better outcomes, and a better future for every patient.

Please always consult your doctor about matters that affect your health.
